I live here at the Pink Cloud Motel; we are pretty much in the middle of nowhere in the middle of America. Every day at 1:15 pm sharp, the mail comes, but not every day do you see the Bald American Eagle that delivers all the mail. The Eagle’s name is Harold, he is the fastest mail carrier on the planet, and he swoops in with the might speed of a bullet. Some days all you see is the letters hit the back of the mailbox and the whole thing just shakes and rattles for a minute or two, we had to reinforce the post at least ten times by now and I have been telling Todd the owner of the motel that we need a one-foot solid steel beam or a concrete pillar that can withstand the force. But Todd won’t do it, he likes the shake and rattle. He sings that old rock n’ roll song, “shake, rattle and roll”, every time, it’s a bit much to be honest. Anyway, I started taking my lunch break at 1, it’s just all a little too much for me to be honest.
